Textile Improvisation: Bed-linen redux!
"Voila!" Silk African batiste as BED-LINEN (quilted)??? The carved wooden Unity Stool (*see picture*) was an inspiration. Rebellious and sensuous... Imagine the immense pleasure of being wrapped up in sumptuous luxury this winter? You heard it here first! Did I hear, "Copyright "?

Inspiration: KENTE Cloth
Kente Cloth, (last photo) the "Cloth of Kings" is singularly known for its brilliantly woven colorations. Post-civil rights, its trendy and far-reaching appeal makes it an often-used design source inspiring Hip-Hop rhymes, tony 5th Ave. interior decor, and international abodes. Its uncommon lineage (Ghana circa 11th Century) and enigmic status are simply Inspirational.

Pop Culture Inspiration???: Philadelphia Men's Fashion Exhibit
The Peacock Male: Exuberance and Extremes in Masculine Dress, sponsored by TIME Magazine, is a zanny, but scholarly celebration of 300 years in men's fashion. Historically, only the wealthiest gentleman could afford to adorn themselves with such whimsy, sublime shock, and extreme craftsmanship.
Ensconced like a gilded lily at Philadelphia's Museum of Art (www.philamuseum.org) now until June 2011, are items some would label merely as "metro-sexual" or 'flamboyant' ,but in fact, were the wardrobe staples of the most virile, masculine, and confident gentleman of that day.

Refreshment for the SOUL! I'm on a R-----o-----L-------L----**OOoOoooooo@@
Certain things feed my soul; New York City is one of them. I call NYC, "THE Destination for the Aesthetically Informed," but you may recognize it by its copiously bestowed title, "The City that Never Sleeps." The first stop (see above clip) on my To-Do List, is the new, NEW MUSEUM of Contemporary Art in Manhattan. ( http://www.newmuseum.org/?gclid=CIvSor7Hx6YCFZ065Qodp1iYKA ) Ahhh... refreshing CULTURE...
